Continued with the basic frame made from EN AW 6082 T66 (AC 100/61). Measured and marked all the reference lines along the fuselage. In order to bend the aluminum perfectly around the fuselage sides, I took a wooden bar, milled a rabbet for the correct offset and clamped it to the fuselage as shown on the picture. This way it will be an easy task bending the aluminum which was processed with cuts every 30mm to make it pliable. The keyfigure here is to reach the right offset from the edge. The Plexiglas Canopy is 3mm plus resin, while on the fuselage side the primer, filler and the paint itself will be on top. It's now the task to make it look smooth and nice after all that is done.
